When you foster for Bella’s Bully Buddies, you get to work with our talented and dedicated professional trainers at no cost to you!
When you foster for Bella’s Bully Buddies, you are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to work with one of the talented and dedicated professional trainers who work with our fosters. In the training classes, you will learn how to better communicate with your foster dog for a more satisfying and successful experience and the goal is for you and the dog to have a foundation of basic obedience training. Obedience training makes the dogs more appealing to potential families and helps dogs to stay in their new homes permanently.
Training, although one of the most important services that we offer to our foster families, that is not where the support ends. Each of our fosters is assigned to a Foster Coordinator who provides guidance about caring for the dog, keeping up with veterinary care, coordinating professional photography of your foster dog ,and planning events to introduce your foster dog to the public and potential families. We have a strong network of experienced fosters who provide an extended “family” feeling through an active closed social networking group especially for our fosters and volunteers.
We are happy to help you find a foster dog to suit your family and current pets!

Owner - P.U.P.S Dog Obedience Training
At P.U.P.S Dog Obedience Training, every dog is assessed and the program is implemented based on that assessment, however, the overall goal for all the dogs is the same. Unwanted behaviors are generally symptoms of a problem. We believe in “heeling the cut” so to speak as opposed to putting a bunch of band aids on a cut. The very reliable obedience under major distractions that our program gives is important, but in our opinion, is the icing on the cake, not the cake itself. What the program does, (or the cake of the program) is builds the dog’s confidence while teaching him/her to bring their adrenaline down around general and trigger stimuli. The combination of building confidence and keeping the adrenaline down creates a thinking dog that is able to make more appropriate assessments in general and around trigger stimuli. It also creates a larger threshold of tolerance within the dog’s nervous system for general and trigger stimuli and allows the dog to transition with ease from situation to situation. The other key component of the program is that it respectfully and productively establishes a trusting relationship between the owner and dog so that the dog views the owner as a capable leader and can trust in the owner’s ability to make all decisions from simple things to things like determining who and what is a threat and more importantly, who and what are not a threat. In other words, the dog will read off of the owner instead of feeling the stress of having to make all the decisions not only for himself, but, for the owner as well. All of this combined, creates a more confident, thinking dog that can transition with greater ease and calmness from situation to situation and make more appropriate assessments while being attentive to the owner’s needs. This will assure a happy, well-balanced dog, which in turn assures success within the home and family! We give discounts to all rescued/adopted dogs!
